John Shum

John Shum is a partner in King & Wood Mallesons' Banking & Finance practice, based in our Singapore office. John has advised financial institutions, corporate borrowers and funds for over twenty years on banking, financing and restructuring matters. Prior to Singapore, John practiced in London, Miami, New York and Hong Kong. He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa Indonesian. John focuses on cross-border financings and restructurings in the South East Asia market, as well as in Hong Kong and China.
