Donny Low, Sharon Henrick and Elouise Brown have written an insightful article regarding the recently announced Memorandum of Understanding between the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM), which will pave the way for increased cooperation between them and more efficient reviews of cross-border transactions and investigations.
ACCC Chairman Rod Sims has stated that “For both countries, the MOU recognises the importance of cooperation in the field of competition regulation.”
